Then number of male patients aged 20 or below=n x 30% x 60% number of male patients aged between 21 and 30=n x 38% x 48% number of male patients aged 31 or above =n x 32% x 75% Required probability = number of male patients aged 31 or above / number of male patients = n x 32% x 75% / (n x 30% x 60% + n x 38% x 48% + n x 32% x 75%) = 0.40 (2 d.p.)
